STEAM Adventure Camp

STEAM Adventure Camp

Susquenita Elementary and Middle School students dove right into Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (STEAM) activities at STEAM Adventure Camp June 19-22.

Kindergarten through 4th grade students learned about density by creating fireworks in a jar, made chompers and stamps out of cardboard, completed space missions by coding Dash robots, and built air racers and kinetic sculptures using gears.

Our 5th-8th grade students extracted strawberry DNA and viewed their own cheek cells under a microscope, created obstacle courses for drones, coded Dash robots through space, and built hydraulic claws to complete various environmental challenges. Our Blackhawks had an amazing time using their creativity to solve problems, create awesome engineering projects, and try new things. Learning has never been so fun! The excitement and energy from all of our students was a sight to behold and no camper left without a huge smile.

Go Blackhawks!
