Ms. Maher Bigley

Hello!

My name is Maher Bigley. I am a Susquenita Grad (Class of 2012). I grew up locally in Duncannon. While at Susquenita I earned 12 Varsity letters in Field Hockey, Basketball, and Track & Field. I also participated in Model UN, Yearbook, and other various clubs and academics. I encourage our students to try an array of activities and explore their interests academically, creatively, and athletically. While I was working towards my BA in Psychology at Gettysburg College, I was a college athlete (Field Hockey - 4years and Track & Field- 1 year).

After graduating from Gettysburg College with a B.A. in psychology, I accepted a position as the assistant director of the Pennsylvania Orthopedic Society where I assisted the association in the planning and execution of scientific meetings, board meetings, outreach, recruitment, and membership. A desire to utilize my degree and my passion for psychology led me to part-time work as a TSS/BHT while I continued my education. It was through my successful work as a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT)/Therapeutic Staff Support (TSS) working in schools with children on the Autism Spectrum that directly led me to seek a career in school counseling. I hold a Master's of Education (M.Ed) in School Counseling from Eastern University.

I am looking forward to coming full circle and serving my home district as the Middle School School Counselor for students A-K, parents, and the community.

Mr. Quentin Clingerman

Hello! My name is Quentin Clingerman, and I will be serving as the school counselor at Susquenita Middle School for students with last names L through Z. This is my third year at Susquenita School District but my fourth year as a school counselor, having previously spent one year at Carlisle Area School District. I am very excited to work alongside and support your students with their career development, as well as, social, emotional, and academic needs.

I graduated from Messiah University in 2017 with my Bachelors in Psychology and Concentration in Clinical Psychology. In May 2020, I graduated from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania with my Masters in Counseling and Concentration in School Counseling. While in graduate school, I spent a lot of time working in various elementary, middle, and high school counseling settings. In the past, I have worked with Philhaven and their Therapeutic After-School Program for students who are struggling both academically and behaviorally.

I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, listening to music, going on road trips, hiking, and long days at Hersheypark. I currently live in Mechanicsburg with my dog, Molly! I am greatly looking forward to meeting everyone as I continue my journey at Susquenita; therefore, please do not hesitate to come in and say hello!
